Who owns the copyright to material and statements?
The terms ‘Getting to Grips with’ used in the context of business skills training programmes as described on this web site and in all promotional material are in the ownership of ‘The Pink Elephant Training Company’
The unique training methodology, audio visual aids, layout and contents of the workbooks are fully copyrighted and may not be used by anyone without the permission of the owners, ‘The Pink Elephant Training Company’
The concept, content and the intellectual property of all seminar / workbooks are copyright protected. Some material may be in the public domain. Any copyright infringements on our part will be addressed immediately.
A licence is granted by the Publisher for the Resource material to be used as an integral part of a Pink Elephant Training seminar. There is no actual or implied copyright transfer to any party. No permission is granted for the material to be copied in whole or large parts but we are happy for small extracts to be used for personal use only. Additional workbooks and support material can be purchased from our web shop.
You may not record by any means any part or the whole of a training session without our permission. Occasionally we will video complete or part sessions for training purposes. We will ask your permission prior to filming and comply fully with the data protection act regarding use and storage of images.
What is included in the Course fee?
If you are attending one of our ‘Blueprint for Success’ workshops arranged directly by ourselves, your fee covers everything except travel and any overnight accommodation (unless stated).
If you are an Organisation offering our courses as part of your own programme then we provide everything except for course administration, venue and refreshments.
All workshops detailed on this web site are fully self contained and unless otherwise notified include all training material, printed workbooks and handouts, after course support (via e-mail/ phone) for as long as required and the provision of all audiovisual equipment. The venue, catering, and bookings administration will usually be the responsibility of the organiser, although these services can also be provided as part of the package.
Continual improvement
We constantly update and revise our training material and reserve the right to change our course content accordingly. However, we will always advise you of any major changes prior to booking. We will also try and give you sufficient warning of changes of dates, venues etc but sometimes this is out of our hands and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience. We will, however, not be held liable for any claims or compensation additional to the return of any course fees.
Certificates
Certificates will be issued following full fee settlement for all courses run directly by ourselves. Organisations offering our courses will usually have their own arrangements. All Pink Elephant courses are certified and can be used as CPD evidence.
Cancelling courses
For all direct courses we are happy to substitute another delegate or transfer to another course if unable to attend. There is no additional charge for this. For Organisations booking our courses, we work very closely with you and try to be as flexible as possible in relation to late cancellations. However, we do ask that you give us at least 7 days notice of cancellation or transfer of dates. If you cancel a course with less than 48 hours notice we will invoice you for the full amount.
Payment terms
For bookings on direct courses we offer a number of methods of paying. You can pay by credit or debit card, transfer from your Paypal account or cheque. You can also pay via invoice and pay by Company cheque but we do ask that payment is received no less than 7 days prior to the course. In addition, we are always happy to discuss offering 30 days net payment terms for our volume clients. However, we do ask that this extended term is strictly adhered to in order to avoid late penalty charges or court action. We do not currently charge VAT (subject to change)
Important: We want you to be completely satisfied with us before you settle your invoice within our agreed terms and conditions. Your absolute satisfaction is our number one priority and we will do all it takes to achieve this. This means, if there is anything more we can do to further improve our service to you, please let us know. We offer a total after sales service including a free e-mail or phone help line for as long and as often as required as well as posting useful information regularly on our web site.
What if we cancel?
We hope this will never happen as we will always go out of our way to prevent this. However, should the unthinkable happen we will not be liable for any claims of compensation against ourselves or associates in relation to the booking.
Anything else we should know?
Probably. Give us a call or drop us an e-mail if there is anything we need to clarify.
