What is business coaching?
Business coaching differs to training or mentoring in that the ‘coach’ is not trying to teach a topic or subject but acts more of a guide or facilitator. In fact, the business coach may have very little specific business expertise and experience in the same field as the person receiving the coaching but will help businesses grow by providing a structured strategic plan to achieve the agreed goals.
Business coaching is all about goal setting, providing support and advice to an individual or group in order to help them recognise ways in which they can improve the effectiveness of their business. Business coaches work to improve leadership, employee accountability, teamwork, sales, communication, goal setting, strategic planning and more.
